Department of Business and Organization Administration

The Department of Business and Organization Management belongs to the School of Management of the University of Peloponnese, located in Kalamata, capital of Messinia. Initially the Department emerged from the merger of the Departments of Health & Welfare Administration and Local Government of the Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese, in 2013. With the passing of Law 4610/2019 it was re-established as a Department of the School of Management of the University of Peloponnese.

The Department of Business and Organizations Management (DEO) is a new and dynamic member of the University of Peloponnese that aspires to make its own mark in education, research, and connection with businesses, public organizations and society, providing its students with a diversified higher education.

The vision of the IHE is academic excellence in close relationship with the business community to build a responsible future.

Students of the Department have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of courses covering the disciplines of management science with an emphasis on two tracks, those of business administration and organizational management. At the same time, students have access to all modern educational tools (computer laboratories, access to international databases, interactive tools, specialized library, etc.) in order to make the most effective use and application of their scientific knowledge.

The aim of the Department's curriculum is to train effective managers with personality, ethics and respect for institutions and values, who can staff the private and public sector of the country. At the same time, it provides all the necessary skills to pursue, if desired, postgraduate and doctoral studies, constantly transferring knowledge to its students through teaching and research, creating opportunities and prospects for both the academic community and productive forces.

In this way, the IEEE Department offers and contributes to the creation of knowledge capable of transforming businesses and organizations.
